I booked a small group tour for up to 10 people, but in reality, there were 14 of us. However, this wasn’t the main issue. The main problem was the guide’s poor and limited English, which made it very difficult to understand. It’s hard to say whether the guide was unprepared or if the language barrier was the reason, but the information provided was minimal and not engaging.
Super exceptional. Tour guide had lots of knowledge, the group was less than ten and that made it easy to ask questions and get personalized attention. I would definitely recommend.
The tour was very impressive and interesting. Our guide presented everything in an understandable, natural and funny way. All in all, a great, informative and relaxed tour. The Alhambra - wow.

Despite the chaotic weather, Angela was brilliant. Her explanations and all the details she gave us about the Alhambra made the visit a wonderful experience. The reception is easy to find, the staff welcoming. We highly recommend this tour.

The guiding was really good but the instructions to meet the guide was possible the worst I have experienced. The link in the email pointed wrong with about 500 metres and no further instructions where exactly to meet the guide.
The most important thing has been the great performance of the guide we had. I don't remember her name. At all times, she analyzed with great human depth what we were seeing. It was not a story. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! She was almost 4 hours with us and always with the same enthusiasm. !!!!!!!!!

The tour with Raquel was excellent, she knew so much and communicated it in a very pleasant way. We are grateful that we were able to experience the Alhambra in this way.

I found our guide Julian very informative and great. I learned a lot. He made the Alhambra a great experience for me!!! 🤗🤗🤗 Unfortunately, another older, blonde-haired group leader (who also accompanied a group in German) treated him quite disrespectfully in front of us and in German 😔😔😔😔 You should have a conversation with this group leader!!!

We had an excellent guide who brought the place alive and I really enjoyed her humour. The ticketting was fine but we had trouble finding the rendezvous point, but when we called for help the girl was clear and very helpful.
Our guide Sow for the visit to the Alhambra was excellent. A highly cultured man who was able to convey the beauty and history of this magnificent site. Many thanks to Sow for his kindness and professionalism. Joëlle from France

Christian was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable & great banter! The Alhambra was beautiful & full of rich history! The tour is long but was not overly tiring at all!
An attentive passionate guide with detailed knowledge of both the Alhambra and the entire history and art collection of Granada and the link to other cultures, buildings and cities. The 3+ hour tour was magnificent and so over.

The guided tour with Vicente, interesting to listen to and taught us some interesting facts. It was a memorable experience. Thank you Vincente. Linda & Angie
Everything was great from the checkin all the way to the very end! Our guide was highly knowledgeable, patient and provided valuable insights throughout! Highly recommended
The tour itself was exceptional as our guide, Suzanne, was very good. However, the ticketing experience with Headout was awful
The Alhambra is magnificent. I have no proper words to describe it. It is a must see for anyone visiting Granada. The guide was very well informed and very fluent in English. We had a great experience.
It was an exciting visit, very interesting, the guide Laura, I would say fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and empathetic.

Ticketing was without any problems, Alhambra-guiding was very interesting, the guide was excellent and told us a lot of things. The Alhambra and the Generalife are as wonderful as we exspected.
The guide Laura(?) guided us trough in an amazing, fascinating and interesting way. She made the old culture come alive. Totally worth it!
Everything was a breeze, if you ask around for help finding your guide everyone is very understanding and directs you to where you need to be. It was very informative and I learned lots! Our guide was friendly and was appropriately numerous which added a nice touch to a long tour. Our tickets where for 9 am and we finished at 1230 pm.
The whole experience was excellent from the moment we checked in at the meeting spot and was introduced to our guide Laura. She was extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. The 3 hours went by very quickly.
Beautiful place, and great history lesson with a guide who knows her stuff (Daniela).we had a great day. Thank you

The guide Mr. Carlos was awsome. He explained everything with passion and integrated every member of our group. Moreover, he speaks many languages, that makes him very interesting person, that knows lot of things. Really loved the route, group members, and Alhambra itself. The audio devices were excellent and i even could buy a headphons since mine are bluetooth, so i can enjoy my route. Thank you very much for such professional stuff.
Awsome guide with excellent english and histology knowledge. Difficult to find the guide in the beginning since we did not have his name.
The place is magnificent, very well restored. Access to everything. Our guide was available, knowledgeable, pleasant and on time.

Guide in small group great 😆 Understandable accentless German. Complete 3 hour tour with small break and detailed art history explanation. Only the location of the meeting point does not match your description. Is namely to the right of the main entrance. Next time again.

I really liked the guide Frances. He was in a great mood and well informed. The sightseeing location is absolutely worth seeing. Unfortunately, I had to spend most of the time trying not to lose sight of my group (due to overcrowding and the set walking pace). What a shame!

I contacted Headout when I could not get tickets because they were sold out purchasing directly from the Alhambra. We had an amazing guide that gave us so many interesting details. I would definitely recommend.
The guide and the itinerary. However, the time of the tour was changed, which affected my visit as I had another appointment afterwards. And the information about the meeting point was sent wrong. The person who did the sorting was neither friendly nor available, Itzel.

Very detailed, inspiring and entertaining tour by the friendly, competent German-speaking guide Manuel.

The experience itself was really fantastic; partly due to the super good guide Hector. Very satisfied with it. I do think we paid ridiculously high prices for this trip. There is gross abuse because providers know that as a tourist you won't be there again anytime soon and are willing to chip in, and I'm afraid the guide doesn't see a dime of it. Very unethical to let tickets go over the top so many times.

The guide showed up punctually at the meeting place. During the entire visit she told in great detail elements of the history, architecture and culture of the time, answered all the questions of the group and always in good spirit. Despite the continuous movement, the visit did not feel rushed and we were able to appreciate the whole Alhambra. Highly recommended in both English and Spanish.

the discovery of an exceptional site, commented on by a guide who speaks French very well, smiles and knows her subject very well

The guided tour of the Alhambra was great. However, the directions described on the tickets from Headout via Google Maps, which would have taken us to a completely different meeting point, were subterranean. This led to confusion and should be urgently rectified. We don't know what is so difficult about locating the exact place via Google Maps and entering the correct directions in the app. So to summarize: excellent guidance, poor performance from Headout.

Muy agradable y ameno el trato y explicacion del guia , permitio mantener la atencion y aprender un poco de lo amplio que es el tema de la Alhambra . Me gusto !
Everything, the warmth of the people and especially the attention of Cristina, our guide. I think we went at a good time, although there were many people, we were able to fully enjoy it.

Earphones to listen to the guide did not work. The tour was supposed to be in Spanish but in reality the guide repeated everything in Spanish and English. The historical background and information about the venue were not the greatest, I have enjoyed other tours much more.
I absolutely loved being walked through these places with a better grasp on the history of it. Made for a much richer experience

In two days, I was able to comfortably explore many beautiful sights. The 48-hour ticket was perfect for this, as I had a whole day to see the entire Alhambra and the Generalife and entry to the Nasrid Palace worked perfectly thanks to the fixed time slot without queuing. Admission to Granada Cathedral and the San Jerónimo Monastery was also free with this ticket. A good choice for a first visit! :))

The place is amazing, the views are breathtaking and the architecture is interesting and amazing, taking you back in time. I absolutely recommend the experience, but be prepared, because the place is huge and you need hours to explore it all.☺️
Two bus ticket pickup points were not working, I had to go to the ones further away. It would be better to install them at the bus stops at the bus or train station, so that they would have them as early as the first day. I had a few rides left. The audio guide was not included in the city tour ticket. It would be good to indicate in the ticket also the times of the various attractions, we were not able to go to the technology park since Monday was closed and Sunday was open only half a day, we would have arranged differently.

We could enter the Alhambra with the pass. The information said that the time reserved for the nasried palace was the time you were allowed into the Alhambra. In our case it was 5 p.m. in the afternoon. We went earlier (by bus) and it turned out that we could then just enter Generalife already. This might be useful to mention. Buses worked fine and we visited some other things. The tourist train didn't really work. Logged on and then waited 25 minutes for the next train. Waited another 20 minutes for the next one. That one too was full. Then gave up. Had a good time and took the bus to the bus station to leave for Malaga.

It was great that we were able to get tickets at relatively short notice, albeit without the Nasrid Palace, but better than nothing. The only thing that needs to be improved is the audio guide, at first a bit critical to take money for it at all (4€/person) because there is a free and much better audio guide on the grounds of the Alhambra (but of course this is not mentioned anywhere when booking, so of course you book it in addition) which is linked to a virtual map so you can't get lost or accidentally listen to the wrong audio. This happened several times at the beginning with the audio guide from Headout, which is why we stopped using it after about 15 minutes and only used the official one.

I received all information regarding the ticket. I am glad that the staff, at the entrance, pointed out the time for Nasrid Palaces as I haven't paid attention to this detail.
Despite the negative reviews found on the Web our experience was great. We had excellent tour with Miguel who spoke excellent english, he was really experienced and knew everything about Alhambra and Generalife and much more. Nicely spent 2.5 hours with interesting guidance and good sense of humor.
We picked up our Bus tickets a day before the Alhambra visit. We were able to ride the train but not the city busses. The city bus card became valid only after the Alhambra visit. I had chatted with headout TWICE about this. They had told me that the bus ticket would be valid a day before. Wrong!
I didn't quite understand that it was all about the Alcazaba, the gardens and the Generalife. A bit disappointed as it's a trip I don't think I'll be able to do again. However, we really enjoyed Granada.

I enjoyed the architectural beauty for which I organized this trip of mine to Andalusia. I found and saw as much and perhaps more than I expected, truly great beauty, the kind that provokes strong emotions. For that matter, I am not used to distractions, like souvenir stores and merchandising of vara nature, so I have nothing to say about this area. September 26, 2024 Angelo

Tickets enabled us to go to the front of the queue and gave us access to Alhambra as expected. No problem just s an passport and in we went.
Relatively simple handling of the program. Sometimes a little confusing due to the size of the mosque. Price-performance ratio on balance very good

Straightforward experience. All the explanations are clear and we were able to redeem everything that is included within the pass.
We visited the magnificent Alhambra The Generife, exceptional for its history and clash of cultures. A moment suspended in time. Granada is a marvel.

I loved revisiting the Alhambra. Disappointed I hadn't got the tickets early enough, so needed to get tghe granda 48 hr pass just to visit on the day we were in Granada. Alhambra awesome, but hated being stuck inbetween all the guided tours which were rather obstructive.
Realmente es un lugar que te remonta a la época bien conservado. Realmente es un patrimonio histórico para la humanidad . Gracias a espana por conservar esta antigüedad.
The free entry to many sights that we probably wouldn't have done otherwise, e.g. Sacramonte Abbey and Monastery la Cartuja. In any case, it was very worthwhile.

We were at a loss and miss some part of the palace, actually we've not allowed to reverse. The introduction should state this rule.
Entry to the allhambra was straightforward and problem-free. Entry to the cathedral was also easy. Getting the bus tickets only at the vending machine in the city center was complicated, but it also worked

Easy access to places to visit. Attractive 48-hour card. Activation of the card for the bus is done on the terminals at the bus stops listed on the application. The tourist office is very helpful if you need further information, very welcoming and the staff took the time to listen and answer our questions.

Avoid the disappointment of being turned away at the gates by booking Alhambra tickets in advance. With limited daily entries, booking ahead ensures you don't miss out on exploring Alhambra.
The Palace of Carlos V is a newer addition to the Alhambra complex. It stands in stark contrast to the Moorish architecture with its Renaissance design. The Palace of Carlos V is designed around a circular courtyard with towering pillars supporting two levels. This unique architectural style symbolizes the union of heaven and earth, a central theme for Renaissance architects.
Yes, booking Alhambra tickets in advance is highly recommended and often essential. Due to the popularity of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, tickets can sell out weeks or even months in advance, particularly during peak tourist seasons (April to September). Last-minute Alhambra tickets are very difficult to secure, and tickets are rarely available on the day of your visit.
No, you cannot reliably buy Alhambra tickets on the day of your visit. Finding last minute Alhambra tickets is extremely rare due to high demand and the limited daily capacity, tickets for Alhambra, especially for access to the Nasrid Palaces, tend to sell out months in advance. Booking Alhambra tickets in advance is best to avoid disappointment.
Alhambra is a historic estate and as a result it has loose stones and uneven terrain. While certain areas like the Generalife gardens have been adapted to accommodate visitors with reduced mobility. The Alcazaba area may pose challenges for those with mobility issues due to difficult access and unstable terrain.
Not all Alhambra tickets include entry to the Nasrid Palace. Visitors must specifically book tickets that allow access to this site.
When arriving at the Alhambra with a pre-booked ticket, bring a printed copy or electronic copy of your ticket confirmation, along with your passport. Other forms of identification, including government-approved IDs from other countries, are not accepted.
If Alhambra tickets are sold out, you can try purchasing a Granada Card, which includes access to Alhambra and several other attractions in Granada. Alternatively, consider booking a guided tour that includes entry, as these tours may have reserved tickets even when standard last minute Alhambra tickets are unavailable.
If tickets are sold out, consider looking for last-minute guided tours or combo tickets that include Alhambra. Guided tours and combo tickets sometimes have separate availability and can be an option to secure entry even if individual last minute Alhambra tickets are no longer available.
If you arrive late for your designated entry time, you may not be allowed entry, especially for timed entry tickets such as those for the Nasrid Palaces. It is essential to arrive on time to avoid missing your allocated entry slot.
Ideally, book several weeks or months ahead of your desired date, especially if you plan to visit during peak season (summer and major holidays). For low-season visits (October to March), you may have more flexibility, but booking Alhambra tickets in advance is still advisable to ensure your preferred entry time.
